Booking & Payment
- Booking is confirmed only after receipt of the required advance payment.
- Standard advance payment is 30% of the total tour cost.
- 40% of the balance is payable 30 days before departure.
- The remaining amount must be paid before the journey.
- Bookings made within 30 days of departure require a minimum 50% advance payment.
- Full payment must be completed 7–15 days before departure (15–30 days for selected international tours).
Price Changes
Tour prices may change due to increases in hotel tariffs, transportation charges, fuel costs, taxes, or government levies.
Travel Documents
Guests are responsible for providing valid ID, passport, visa and all necessary travel documents. The company is not responsible for losses caused by incorrect or incomplete documentation.
Third-Party Services
Hotels, airlines, railways, transport providers, cruise operators and safari authorities operate independently. Long Journey Tour & Travel acts only as a booking facilitator.
Itinerary Changes
The company reserves the right to modify the itinerary due to weather, operational requirements, safety concerns, government restrictions or any unavoidable circumstances.
Special Requests
Meal preferences, room type, seat preferences and similar requests are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
Health
Guests should be medically fit to travel and carry necessary medications. Anyone suffering from a contagious illness may be denied participation for the safety of other travellers.
Guest Conduct
Guests must maintain proper behaviour throughout the tour. Misconduct may result in immediate termination of services without any refund.
Wildlife Tours
Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed. Safari timing, zone allocation and permits are governed solely by the Forest Department.
Travel Insurance
Guests are strongly advised to purchase suitable travel insurance.
Limitation of Liability
The company shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, accidents, loss, injury, political disturbances, natural disasters, pandemics or any event beyond its reasonable control.
Jurisdiction
All disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts where the company’s registered office is located.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Client Cancellation
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email or official communication channels.
Advance Payment
The booking advance is strictly non-refundable under any circumstances.
Cancellation Charges
- 30 days or more before departure: 50% of the total tour cost.
- 29–15 days before departure: 70% of the total tour cost.
- Less than 15 days before departure or No Show: 100% of the total tour cost.
Non-Refundable Services
Visa fees, flight tickets, hotel bookings, permits, safari bookings and other third-party services may become non-refundable immediately after confirmation.
Partial Cancellation
Cancellation by one member of a group booking may result in revised pricing for the remaining members.
Unused Services
No refund will be provided for missed meals, sightseeing, transport, hotel nights or any unused services.
Company Cancellation
If the company cancels a tour due to operational reasons, guests will be offered either:
- A full refund of the amount paid, or
- Rescheduling or travel credit, subject to company policy.
Force Majeure
No refund shall be payable for cancellations caused by natural disasters, pandemics, political unrest, government restrictions or other circumstances beyond the company’s control. However, rescheduling or travel credit may be offered at the company’s discretion.
Refund Processing
Eligible refunds will be processed within 7–15 working days through the original payment method.
Date Change Policy
One free prepone/postpone request is allowed if requested at least 30 days before departure and subject to availability. Additional changes may attract extra charges.

While every effort is made to provide accurate information and operate tours as planned, we do not guarantee that itineraries, schedules, hotel allocations, safari permits or transportation services will remain unchanged.
The company shall not be held responsible for:
- Flight or train delays or cancellations
- Weather-related disruptions
- Natural disasters
- Political unrest or government restrictions
- Wildlife sighting failures
- Hotel or transport service deficiencies
- Loss, theft or damage of personal belongings
- Personal injury, illness or medical emergencies
- Decisions made by government or local authorities
Guests are responsible for carrying valid travel documents, personal medicines, valuables and appropriate travel insurance.
